Hitsuji is a minor character in the Medarot series, first introduced in Medarot 2 and returning in Medarot 3 and 4. He serves as the loyal butler to the Awano family and is particularly devoted to his young master, Hachiro Awano.
Beginning in Medarot 3, a recurring gag in the series is that all butlers bear a striking resemblance to Hitsuji, almost as if they were clones. Kouji's butler in the anime also shares a similar appearance to Hitsuji.
