Medarot Card Robattle RB is a trading card battle game for the Nintendo Switch. It is the second Medarot trading card video game since 2000's Medarot Cardrobottle.

As with previous installments, the game will be released in both Kabuto and Kuwagata versions. Kabuto players get a shooting-focused deck after completing the tutorial and Kuwagata's a melee-centric deck, though it has been announced that all cards will be tradeable through online features.

Overview

The game features both single player and multiplayer modes. It has over 400 cards, featuring both characters and Medarots from previous titles. The artwork is sourced from Medarot S: Unlimited Nova, though the cast of character for the story proper is brand new.

The following modes are included:

• Robottle Challenge: The player battles other Medal Card Fighters in a variety of terrains.
• Robottle Tower: The player is challenged to ascend a randomly-generated tower. If they loose, they are sent to the bottom floor to try again. "Easy", "Normal" "Hard" and "Endless" modes are available.
• Online Battles: Battles with other players. Both network and local play are available.

Promotion

A trial event was held at the Medarot Pop-Up store in Machida Modi, from February 21 to February 23.

Prior to release, players of Medarot S: Unlimited Nova and Medarot Survivors could register their player ID on the game's official website to be listed as "Special Supporters" in the in-game credits. Doing this will also gift players with special items to use in the game they registered with.

Deluxe Edition

A limited boxed set was made available for purchase. The Deluxe edition features both versions of the game, a 80-pages "Complete Card Book" detailing all of the cards, a booster card set for a physical card game and a soundtrack CD featuring 30 songs + 1 BONUS TRACK.
